Amazon to Manage E-Book Distribution for NYC Schools

Amazon is in the process of creating an online shop to help distribute e-books and other digital content for New York City schools, according to Education Week.

The $30 million contract for the agreement between Amazon Digital Services, Inc. and NYC schools is expected to be approved in September.

The deal would be one of the biggest moves toward digital content for schools, for the largest school system in the U.S.
