Report: Technology a Silver Bullet for Reaching At-Risk Students

A new report has shown that technology can produce significant gains in student achievement and engagement, particularly among students most at risk. The report, released Sept. 10 by the Alliance for Excellent Education, comes from two Stanford professors and a doctoral student who used research to find how technology has made a difference in students in danger of failing or dropping out of school. The report underscores the need for districts to have plans that properly integrate technology in classrooms. Read the full report at all4ed.org.
