Ryan has been a magazine and newspaper editor for 13 years, with the last seven covering a variety of bases for EdTech: Focus on K-12. As Editor in Chief, he works on developing editorial strategy and is always on the lookout for new writing talent and sharing great stories with the IT world. Before working on CDW’s family of magazines, Ryan worked at the Kane County Chronicle, the Moline Dispatch and the Rock Island Argus newspapers. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, biking and obsessively following Iowa Hawkeye sports. Against his better judgment, Ryan is raising his children as Cubs fans.

Vanessa has worked on the magazine since April 2005. Previously, she spent 18 years at Government Computer News, as managing editor, news editor and writer. In her former spare time, before her family-of-four years, she liked to read a book in one or two sittings and dive wrecks along the Carolina shores and reefs around any Caribbean island.

Marla is a 17-year magazine industry veteran, having begun her career with EMedia, a now-defunct trade magazine that focused on digital storage technologies. She later worked as an editor for publications serving the pharmaceutical, lodging, education and residential architecture industries before returning to her tech roots in April 2010 as managing editor of EdTech. In her spare time, she likes to read paper books and magazines and root for the Red Sox and Nationals.

Jaime is a Senior Editor for EdTech and enjoys connecting with people and ideas to make stories. With plenty of experience in editing, proofreading, writing, teaching English 101 and being married to an elementary school teacher, she's enthusiastic about and fascinated by every aspect of the editorial lifestyle. Jaime is also devoted to reading, consuming chocolate, playing the violin, chasing after her kids and drinking sweet tea.

Frank publishes and manages the online content for EdTech: Focus on Higher Education and EdTech: Focus on K–12. He's a former Patch editor and newspaper journalist, having worked for Gannett and Stephens Media publications in the Southeast since 2005.
