Don't get spooked, but this year's annual EDUCAUSE conference will be here sooner than Halloween.
EDUCAUSE 2015 will run from Oct. 27-30 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Hosted by the nonprofit organization EDUCAUSE whose mission is to transform higher education through use of information technology, the conference is a source of news, research and best practices for higher education and IT professionals.
Each year, the conference gathers some of the brightest minds of the industry under one roof to address the biggest IT topics facing higher education today. This year's show promises more than 270 exhibitors, 454 sessions, and three keynote speakers.
This year's conference keynote speakers include:
- Daniel Pink, author, host and co-executive producer of National Geographic's Crowd Control
- Andrew McAfee, an author and co-founder of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy
- Emily Pilloton, an author, humanitarian design activist and founder of Project H
For those who can't make it in person for this year's show, a virtual conference is being live streamed from Indianapolis, including 40 sessions throughout the four-day conference.
