Tara Lifland is an Instructional Designer for The George Washington University’s eDesign Shop. In addition to developing stunning online courses, Tara works with a team of librarians to advocate for open textbooks at GW. She first became interested in the #GoOpen movement in her time working with the Saylor Foundation and the Office of Educational Technology at the U.S. Department of Education.
