USDOE Helps to Protect Student Data

The US. Department of Education has issued guidelines to school districts on protecting student data collection. The guide, called "Transparency Best Practices for Schools and Districts" helps faculty inform students and parents on how data is collected and used for education. It also offers some tips on how to help parents feel a part of the process by giving them access to that data through school websites.
