ISTE20 Live: How One School District Is Reimagining Career Training and Education

The jobs and careers of the 21st century look wildly different from those of the 20th century. Still, many of the norms and standards established for K–12 environments haven't evolved rapidly and creatively enough to keep pace. In the Cajon Valley Union School District in California, leaders have taken a bold approach that seeks to invigorate and reimagine career training and education for its students in a way that ensures relevance and hirability. In order to execute its strategic vision, the district is using technology to fuel this reimagined approach to career training and education in a major way.
