Monday: Virtual Reality and the Future of Learning
VR technology already creates immersive educational experiences on campuses across the country. This presentation by the College of New Rochelle and Digital Bodies, one of EdTech’s 50 Must-Read Higher Ed IT Blogs, dives into the different approaches for leveraging the new learning tool, as well as planning strategies and resources for institutions just getting started.
Tuesday: Using Data to Understand Student Behavior and Performance
During this session, an entrepreneur and professor from the University of Michigan will explain how bringing together data from student surveys and an institution’s information and learning management systems can help colleges and universities predict student outcomes earlier.
Wednesday: Enable Better Student Outcomes Without Sacrificing Security
Presented by representatives from Dell and Quinnipiac University, this session aims to help institutions foster collaboration and productivity while protecting both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
Thursday: Differentiating Your School Through IT Innovation
Bringing transformational technologies to campus starts with building the right infrastructure — specifically, wired and wireless connections that can support large amounts of traffic produced by the Internet of Things. This presentation from Extreme Networks and Nazareth College discusses ways institutions can meet those needs to improve learning outcomes and retention rates
