The technology companies will join other corporate sponsors at the Georgia collegiate esports festival May 7-8.

The Collegiate Esports Commissioner’s Cup (CECC) has named CDW and Microsoft as presenting partners of the event, scheduled to take place May 7-8, 2022, at the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta.

“As esports within education continues to grow both in popularity and opportunity, we are excited to continue our support for the students and the esports ecosystem by serving as the presenting sponsor, along with Microsoft, of the 2022 Collegiate Esports Commissioner’s Cup,” said CDW’s Vice President of Education Joe Simone.

The collegiate esports festival will host 64 schools from North America competing across a range of games, including Overwatch, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Valoran. The event will also feature networking opportunities, a recruitment fair and other onsite events hosted by sponsors and partners.
